B.A. Geology Vassar College 2006

I am a Masters student working with Allen Glazner studying pluton evolution. My research will focus upon creating the first comprehensive map of the southeast face of El Capitan to help understand magmatic processes. Mapping will be initially undertaken using high resolution photography followed up by ground-truthing by climbing and rappelling.  Geochemistry will also be utilized to help relate the individual plutons exposed on the face.

I teach GEOL-190 Science Seminar with a focus on Mountains. I look forward to learning to teach and bestowing some of my own enthusiasm for geology and the natural world to my students.

My other interests include rock climbing, surfing, skiing, fishing, and trail running.
