My research interests lie in the use of field techniques, GIS, and remote sensing in regards to coastal geomorphology and sediment transport. Coastal environments are dynamic and in a constant state of flux, making it possible to witness significant changes on human timescales. Information on how these regions react to different environmental factors can have significant impacts on society, making this research particularly exciting to me. Working with Dr. Laura Moore, I will be making observations on how wave climate impacts sediment transport and shape of the Outer Banks barrier islands of the North Carolina coast.
I also enjoy saying “Howdy” and “fixin’ to”, running, hiking, scuba diving, and keeping up with Aggie Athletics.
