Geological Sciences receives $9,000 in grants from ExxonMobil
The Department of Geological Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has received $9,000 from ExxonMobil’s Departmental and GeoScience Incentive Grants
The grants, which were received on March 2, are unrestricted and may be used for any educational purposes within the department.
“We are pleased to receive these awards,” said department chair and Kenan Distinguished Professor Allen Glazner. “These grants will allow us to provide scholarships to students and to support field trips. This is a great way to help nurture the next generation of geoscientists.”
