Careers in Geology: March 18th, 5:00pm
Thursday evening, March 18th, starting at 5pm, the Carolinas Section
of the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists will present a
PIZZA-dinner seminar on careers in geology. The event will be in Room 005
of Mitchell Hall. The presentations will be very informal – four geologists
will talk for about 20 minutes each on their careers and specialties:
engineering geology, environmental geology, geophysical techniques, public
sector and private sector employment. You will be able to ask questions
during and after the presentations. It's a great event, for those just
starting in geology and for upperclassmen about to enter the workforce.
