I am a M.S. Student working with Dr. Jonathan Lees in the field of volcano seismology. We are working on a seismic inversion to model the subsurface structure of Sierra Negra volcano in the Galapagos. We are also currently investigating the use of broadband seismometers to measure tilt at erupting volcanoes, and applying those techniques to understanding explosive activity at Karymsky volcano on the Kamchatka peninsula, Russia.
