6th Annual Carolina Climate Change Seminar
Dr. Benjamin D. Santer of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is the invited speaker at the 6th Annual Carolina Climate Change Seminar, hosted by the Department of Geological Sciences and supported by the UNC Provost's Office, the College of Arts & Sciences, the Institute for the Environment, and the Department of Marine Sciences. Dr. Santer will present a public seminar titled, The scientific evidence for a "discernible human influence" on global climate on Thursday, October 27th at 7:30 p.m. in the Nelson Mandela Auditorium at the FedEx Global Education Center. He will present a technical talk titled, Separating signal and noise in atmospheric temperature changes: The importance of timescale at the Tate-Turner-Kuralt Auditorium at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 28th.
